The loaction of the house is ideal for exploring the sorounding mountains and forests. The house is located directly next to a hiking trail from which you can start exploring. The close train station also enables trips which go to other nearby villages and localities. Šerak is a xxkm hike from the house and if that is too far for you the train takes you to Ostružna from which Šerak is not far anymore. If you would like to stay close by the mountain Smrk is close by and offers great viewms and a beatiful high altitude bog. In any case there is plenty to explore around and we are happy to give you advice for which routes will suit your needs the best.
There are a few lifts in the area. Look at the map. They are both accessible by car or by train. Besides downhill skiing the area features a vast amount of cross-country skiing paths.
